"Building an interface for an on-line Question Answering System"

Abstract

People today use the Internet to find information, but to find what they require they have to read through pages of text to get the answers they want. What is needed is a system that could sort though the Internet and find that data we need more precisely than the current search engines.

This is a report of a project that is one solution to the above problem. It involves the development of an interface for an existing Question answering system and adapting it to work over the Internet.

This project hopes to result in the production of an on-line Question answering system that can be used in demonstrations anywhere in the world.
