Supervised by G.Brown

Abstract

This project involves developing a mobile application that is going to be in a continuous interaction with a smartwatch called Pebble. The main background idea of the project is creating an audio diary application which will allow the user to make voice recordings, store them in the personal phone directory, manage and browse them by various features. Besides this, the Pebble watch will be an interface for the mobile application, notifying the user in different situations and allowing to control the app.

Following document reviews current smart devices (smartwatches and smartphones), the technology behind them and some of the example environments related to the idea which are being used nowadays. Then, an application design is presented and all the requirements for its implementation is described based on the review. Finally, all the technical approaches followed during implementation, evaluation methods and analysis are described in details.
