Augmented Reality in Regent Court

Supervised by S.Maddock

Abstract

With the increase in the power and availability of smart devices it has become very easy to develop applications which feature augmented reality. With this increased power it means that the targets used for recognition can be more complex.

This project aims to take advantage of this increase in power and develop an Android application which uses augmented reality to critique posers currently displayed around Regent Court.

The project has been  success as a working Android application has been developed, which allows users to critique posters around Regent Court. There are areas which could be improved, as well as fulfilling the requirements that were missed. However this project has shown that the user of augmented reality in Regent Court can be successful.
