Hiding medical data in medical images and physiological signals

Abstract

Steganography  is one kind of ancient encryption technology. This method hiding secret information into normal media like painting or letter, people without this method could not discover secret exist.

Digital messages using steganography  method become a new field of cryptography from 1985. Today it becomes a good solution to protect personal privacy in cloud technology, in particular in medical field. This project is focus on the principle of digital image steganography  operation and how to apply it to hiding text data.

Aim of this project is about analysis the method of applies the steganography  technology in medical field. Author design this project works aim divide into two parts. Part 1 is research about the work structure of digital steganography , part 2 is implement a software with steganography  functions.

As a result, the main achievements including:  Three different program with different method of steganography  implemented. Deeply understand the simple principle of steganograohy  and commonly digital image format. Get exercise of coding skills.
