Synchronized Movement for Lego EV3 Robots

Supervised by S.North

Abstract

Synchronized movement for multiple robots is one of the most popular and important research in robot area. As the programmable robot developed and added to this research, the synchronization implement could be become much easier. Thus the purpose of the project in this dissertation was to achieve the multiple robots synchronization movement by programming with the programmable robot - Lego EV3 robot. After it started with a wide review of relevant literature for the theoretical preparation, the project was implemented with a gradually progressive process from a single robot to multiple robots. The synchronization was achieved not very well in four robots experiment. Though there were errors and deviations, the results from this implement process was acceptable with the considerations of the difference from robots themselves. It has made attempts to implement the robots synchronization movement by programming, which could be used for reference for the future research. There were some plans that not able to be applied into the project completely could be the recommendations of future work.
