RKM_UG-1: Animating 'Zeno', the RoboKind humanoid robot - Conversational Interaction

Abstract

Conversational interaction is a very current theme in robotics and aims to improve the quality of human-robot interaction by implementing different methods that will  help a human user enjoy a richer and more authentic experience with a robot. This project primarily aims to do this by combining an open source and text-based chatbot  with a physical robot and then expanding it to create a system with more sophisticated capabilities for conversation, such as facial expressions and gestures based on the text sentiment of what the user says.
