Visualisation of Fantasy Football Statistics

Supervised by P.McMinn

Abstract

Fantasy Football is a popular online g ame where the players of the game act as a football manager and ge t to build a team from a pool of football players associated to certain football leagues. The teams are then entered into leagues where managers can compete for fun or for a prize.

The aim of the project is to ease the manager's team building task by providing tools over a web application which give managers the ability to display data in more suitable tabular and/or graphical formats. It is hoped that these tools will improve the manager's ability to visualise player's data and spot any relevant trends, which in turn should assist them in the process of identifying and selecting high performing football players for their team.
