Students' Union Societies Application

Abstract

The Students' Union at the University of Sheffield boasts a vast number of societies catering for a variety of activities and interests. Unfortunately, only a handful of societies utilise  the Union's current system to govern society management, with the majority of societies resorting to the use of social media for communication and events management.

This project aims to develop a new online  application for society management. Problems in the Union's current system will need to be identified and resolved; as a result, eliminating a need for the use of alternative resources.

The resulting system successfully incorporates the requirements identified for a society management application, as well as receiving a positive review from the University of Sheffield's Students' Union Activities Officer.
