Supervised by R.Taylor

Abstract

Built as a modern and smart building of the University of Sheffield, the Diamond canevaluate itself by collecting data from over 3000 smart sensors in this building. However these data have never been used and presented to the main users of thisbuilding: the university students. It is hoped the raise of augmented realitytechnology in recent years can provide new possibility to achieve the interactionbetween the data and users.

This project aims at performing an intuitive visualisation of environment informationin the Diamond. A smart-phone application is built to perform the visual effect ofaugmented reality, it helps the user understand the environment condition andprovides a fun visual experience.
