Abstract

What is the future for Computer Science MSc programmes?

This dissertation investigates Computer Science MSc programmes in the UK, the goal is to research current trends and use the data to predict potential future trends.

In order to reach the goal, research was done using sites such as UCAS and FindAMasters to get up to date information about different Postgraduate courses within the UK. However, relying on data from online isn't enough therefore more data was needed. To ensure that the data was accurate and reliable part of the data used for this project was obtained from University of Sheffield.

Towards the end, a recommendation was made using both the data that was obtained and data that was researched.
