GreenShpace: Usage of Green Spaces within Sheffield

Abstract

Green Spaces in urbanised areas can be used for a number of physical or health related means. Furthermore, the surge in individual's using technology for these means has allowed the monitoring of a number of health related statistics through a range of devices such as Smartphones. This project uses an anonymous dataset of movement logs and analyses this using geospatial querying, replicating the finding via a series of graphs within a web application. The following report consists of a description and analyses in the areas of health, mobility, web design and development as well as the implementation and testing of the final outlined requirements.
