Augmented assembly demonstrator on 'see through' HMD for factory 2050

Abstract
The technology used to aid workers in the manufacturing process within factories have greatly increased over the last century. Much time is now being invested by companies to find different ways they can view their environment to ensure it is running optimally. The project highlights how some companies are now using AR and VR technology to aid them in their work, to allow them to be more efficient and earn more money. The aim of this project is to research how using data from sensors placed across the factory can be used to create a system that allows the user to see through the factory, analyse to avoid problems and for maintenance purposes.
