Cupboard: The Recipe Search App
Supervised by P.McMinn
Abstract
The culture of our society today has become impatient, fast-paced and irrefutably digital. When we have a problem to solve, we turn straight to our devices. However, the development of our digital society presents an opportunity. Web-based businesses and mobile applications are flourishing, and many have become prospering businesses and spawned a pool of digitally-made millionaires.
This project is to create a mobile application that adds value to user's lives but can also form a viable business. The solution is a food and drink-based application that allows users to generate recipes based on item's already in the user's inventory.
This report covers an extensive literature review, a researched business plan, an insight into the requirements and analysis of the solution, its design, followed by its implementation and testing. The results of the solution are discussed, and the success of the solution is concluded at the end of the report.
